"I first put this out under the pseudonym Maldek but I've since reclaimed it as my long-lost pre-solo project.

Fuelled by the positive response to Smoke Signals, I dived headlong into this project with all guitars blazing, eagerly bashing out new tunes on a near-daily basis.

What started out as an intended punk E.P. soon turned into a mammoth mixed bag of guitar tunes, bolstered by seven songs I'd recorded the previous year.

The majority of it was recorded and mixed in a mad panic because the mixing desk I was using had to be returned to its rightful owner.

It would be nice to revisit some of these songs and maybe finish them one day. The 'to-do' list is getting bigger!"
