"I have a special fondness for 'Bristol U.K.' because we made it as a team from the very first notes to the CD cover.

Chances R was all about getting things done fast! We wrote dozens of songs and used a democratic system to decide which ones to record.

In hindsight, we all agree that we got it wrong to a degree with 'Bristol U.K.', especially the omission of 'Temperance'. We did seven tracks at 'Mr Grin' in Bristol and added remixes of the three tunes done with Phil Golf in 1992.

There are some great moments on this CD but maybe we should've waited a while before spending a huge wad of cash making it. It's a real shame we didn't get to better it with a second album, but the live DVD will have to suffice, along with the compilation album!"
