"I didn't stop writing once I'd finished 'Fight Or Flight' because I was still feeling inspired. I spent most of June 2005 at Glastonbury helping at the festival which helped to keep the creative vibe flowing.

I'd written more acoustic-flavoured songs this time around, whih were recorded with an emphasis on live percussion and a lot less bluster.

I wrote a lot of the words in my head whilst out walking in the hills and vallies of the West Country during the summer and autumn of 2005.

As with the last CD, I used my laptop to record this project, though I didn't get around to using my car as a studio this time!

Tracks 2, 3, 5, 8, 10 and 11 were originally written 'live' at Dan Russell's place during one of our occasional songwriting 'jams'. Many of the 'On Wisdom Hill' songs came about in a similar way."
