"This was the first full-length album that I put my own name to. I'd wanted to do a 'proper' solo CD for years and eventually found the time and inspiration to achieve it during 2002, following on from making Dan Russell's album 'Road To California'.

After three years spent in an 'experimental music' mode making Bluebottlegreen tracks, I intentionally set out to produce a pop-minded collection of guitar and vocal songs, including two re-worked versions of older numbers (tracks 5 and 6).

The album was bolstered by the addition of updated versions of the 'Made In Somerset EP' tracks from 2002.

I wrote and played every note on this album, with the recording taking place using a home computer at my former attic studio in Keynsham."
