"I am Jason Allen, a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, lyricist and producer from the lazy county of Somerset, U.K. I began playing drums at the age of eleven and have since written over 700 songs.

My live career began in 1986, playing drums with a bunch of my school friends in a local pub. A stream of bands followed through the next decade which saw me progress from drummer to lead singer, via guitar. Like Phil Collins, only with more hair.

Following the demise of my main band Chances R in 1994, I returned to drumming in other people's bands until I made the decision to foresake the stage in order to explore the studio side of music creation. My shell-shocked 'drummers ears' were needing a rest.

After a fruitful spell commercially engineering and producing regional bands, I embarked on a series of self-made albums as 'Bluebottlegreen'. I also reworked ITV's West Match theme tune for the 1999-2000 season.

Since 2003, I have completed a string of self-made guitar and vocal-based solo projects at my home 'studio'."
