"I am Jason Allen, a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, lyricist and producer from Somerset, U.K. I began playing drums at the age of eleven and have since written around 1,000 songs.

My live career began in 1986, playing drums with a bunch of my school friends in a local pub. A stream of bands followed through the next decade which saw me progress from drummer to lead singer, via guitar. Like Dave Grohl, or a hairier Phil Collins.

Following the demise of my main band Chances R in 1994, I returned to drumming in other people's bands until I made the decision to foresake the stage in order to explore the studio side of music creation. My shell-shocked 'drummers ears' were needing a rest.

After a fruitful spell commercially engineering and producing regional bands, I embarked on a series of self-made albums as Bluebottlegreen. I also reworked ITV's West Match theme tune for the 1999-2000 season.

Since 2003, I have completed a string of self-produced solo albums."
